1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MatrixBattle at https://matrixbattle.com (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By creating an account or using any feature of the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MatrixBattle is an AI aggregator platform that allows users to submit prompts simultaneously to multiple large language models (GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek) and view their responses side by side. The Service includes a free tier with limited daily queries and paid subscription plans for expanded access.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Accounts & Registration

You must create an account to use the full Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You must verify your email address to activate your account
• You may not share your account credentials with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• One account per person; creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
• Generate spam, malware, phishing content, or other malicious material
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service to compete directly with MatrixBattle
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Billing

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Intellectual Property

The MatrixBattle platform, including its design, code, branding, and non-user-generated content, is owned by MatrixBattle and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. This license does not include any right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit. By submitting prompts, you grant MatrixBattle a limited license to transmit them to third-party AI providers solely to generate responses for you.

AI responses are generated by third-party providers. MatrixBattle does not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs. You are responsible for how you use any AI-generated content.

8. Third-Party AI Providers

MatrixBattle routes your prompts to third-party AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and DeepSeek. Use of these providers is subject to their respective terms of service and acceptable use policies.

MatrixBattle is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated responses. AI outputs may be factually incorrect, biased, or inappropriate. Always verify important information independently.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. AI model availability depends on third-party providers and may vary.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATRIXBATTLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable. You waive any right to a jury trial for disputes arising from these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 7 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent site notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
